Dian Novarina is a Deputy Director for Sustainability and Stakeholder Engagement at the Asia Pacific Resources International Limited (APRIL) Group.

Dian Novarina completed her undergraduate education at the Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB), from the Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agronomy; and obtained her Master degree from the International Institute for Geo-information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), in Enschede, the Netherlands, with major in Natural Resource Management. Currently she is still undergoing doctoral education at the University of Indonesia in the field of Environmental Sciences.

Dian Novarina is a Chair of the Business Chamber at the National Forestry Council (Dewan Kehutanan Nasional/DKN), and the Business Chamber at the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian Ecolabel Institute (LEI). Also a member of: the National Management Board of the National Communication Forum for Community Forestry (Forum Komunikasi Kehutanan Masyarakat/FKKM), the Steering Board of the Indonesian Peat Association (Himpunan Gambut Indonesia/HGI), the Board of the Association of the Indonesian Forest Concessionaires (Asosiasi Pengusaha Hutan Indonesia/APHI), the Board of the Indonesian Forestry Certification Cooperation (IFCC), the Board of the High Conservation Value (HCV) Network Indonesia, and the Board of the Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD).
