Graduated from the Faculty of Forestry, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) and the University of Denver, Colorado, USA, Nurcahyo Adi has been involved in the domain of certification and sustainable forest management in the last 20 years. He believes that forest certification is one of the important "tools" for achieving sustainable forest management. He had ever worked and involved in the activities at the institutions related to forest certification in order to promote responsible forest and forest product management businesses, including as the Director of WWF Indonesia GFTN, a member of LEI Board of Member Representatives (MPA LEI) representing NGO, MFP / Kehati as a forest facilitator senior, and etc. In addition, he was also fully involved and colored the commencement of the legality system, which later became the SVLK. Became the members of various social organizations and organizations / institutions related to his competence, in addition to become the IFCC Board (Director of Certification, Accreditation and Training), he also pursue various matters related to the development of standards, development of organization and personal capacity.
